My Strombecker
1978 Honda Civic CVCC. Almost the size of the real car at 10 1/2 inches long. Bright yellow plastic. Somewhere along the way Strombecker and Tootsie created this toy. Available in all sorts of bright colour combinations. Couldn't resist this gem, as a former 1978 Civic owner many years ago.

My choice of color scheme for next year's racer
Axles were trimmed and raised[to lower the ride-height].
Head-on , the hood [hood] shows as the Honda ''H'' by following the car's design cues.

It's rough as it was done done purely as a distant-view mock-up to be viewed as if on the bleachers [seating]
The car will be red with white vinyl.
Sadly the 'H' will not be quite so good as the model is distorted in its proportions

Cut the axles and slotted their mounts to lower it, just like I used to do when modelling and slot-racing back in the '60s.
Favorite car when I was slot racing in the States in '64?
a 1/32 '63 Sting Ray, made by Strombecker.
