i found a WEBER 32/36 carb with a K&N filter in the floorboard of a parts car i just bought, what civic will this fit, it has a seperate baseplate also. i am no mechanic, but it looks like it might need rebuilding to be useful, very clean, but probably not on a car in well over 12 yrs. it was in the floorboard of a 78 cvcc. will this fit a 1200??

If you have the right adapter it will if the seperate baseplate is an adapter for the civic carb bolt patern to the weber carb bolt patern then it will bolt right on with the adapter plate
and the you just have to figure out the throttle linkage and hoses, etc...

thanks, i don't know what i have but i will continue to investigate, thanks Jon. i have a seperate base plate, but i have not looked at it closely enough to see if it will fit my 1200.
