I got this car a few months ago and am looking to turn it into a little rocket. Basically I need all the information i can get. Its got a 1.5 now, does that mean that anything that will fit in the 3rd gen. 1.5s will fit in here? I haven't seen anybody talk about 1.5s just the 1.3s. What should i do about the susp? The front is workable but i got leafsprings on the back. I can't really find any information about the wagons, but I think it is a great car that could be made into a really really awesome ride. Any information would be really helpful. thanks

If you don't have to worry about emissions put a 79-81 accord engine and tranny and a weber conversion (good torque). Or if you want to spend a few I was told that a 88 accord tranny and it's shortblock engine(no head just block)and then ad a 88 prelude head on it and it's 'supposed' to almost bolt in. I just think that it might be hard to make a intake/carb set-up for it. And from there you can get gas shocks,(90)CRX si callipers/pads/rotors should bolt on front mounting points, and 15" aluminum wheels that are 4/100mm (i had 91 gsr integra rims on my 83 civic S) and they fit pretty good!! errol

second gen wagons are cool. Ive had experience modifying several. intake, exhaust, and ignition, and a little fine tuning, and they'll take the late model ex's. but you'll wear out the clutch in about 30kmi. (I'm driving an 83 also.)
