I have read in a few post about the 1983 civic S.Can anyone tell me more about this car??What was diffrent about it??Did if have more HP????I would be very interested if any of you could tell me more about this car!

Same HP...Gas struts from factory, custom interior, only came in Red, or Black metallic paint, extra added rear pencil thin swaybar...that's about the only differences from the "S", and the standard 1500CVCC.

I have 2 1300 "S" engines. They come with double Keihins, 5 speed tranny, a slightly lumpier cam. The car itself was equipped with vented discs up front as well. That's the differences I know off.
