WHAT IS A GOOD DISK BRAKE SWAP FOR AN 83 HB. THE DISKS THAT ARE ON THE CAR NOW ARENT THAT GREAT SO I WAS FIGURING ON TRYING TO STEP IT UP A BIT.

hey, its been a while since your inquiry, but maybe you'll read this anyway. you can use the front brakes off an 85 accord sei, and the calipers and everything will bolt up. you can get carbon-metallic pads for the sei calipers, and the whole deal will fit under stock wheels. If though, you want to go a little more radical, with some minor adaption and fabrication, and a set of bigger wheels, you can use brakes from any civic through 2000, any accord through 89, integra to present, or prelude through 89. you could probably also use some VW, Audi, or BMW parts as well.

Excellent, thats what I have been looking for. As soon as I can scrounge around some money I might try this. Any suggestions on swapping in a vtec or any new engine, the stock engine has just about had it and rebuilding or buying a new one just isnt worth it.
