I just got this wagon the other day and I noticed the smell of gas around the rear area. Upon inspection I noticed gas was coming out of the small weap hole in the fuel pump. This was happening when the engine was running, I also heard a clicking noise. It isnt a large amount of fuel coming out but enough to make me suspect a problem. My question is should I replace the pump and should I use a oem pump or will a cheaper inline pump do the job? The stock one is the out of tank type. The car also has a weber carb and an external pressure regulator. I am not very familiar with carbs and I am also curious how to adjust the regulator and fuel jetting. Of all the hondas I have owned ('81,'84 '87 accords '87 prelude and '93 Integra) I have only worked on the injected ones. Surprisingly the ones with carbs didnt have any problems. Any help will be appreciated.

p.s. once the engine has had it I plan on a 1.6 or 1.8 vtec transplant

Sorry man I just picked up a purolator universal pump that goes up to 4 psi. The weber manual says all it needs is 3.5 psi so this pump should work fine. Thanks for the offer though.
