No!
The EK has evenly spaced bores for one and the bore is 77mm whereas the EB has siamesed cylinders and a 72mm bore.

the bolt tightening sequence is the same,
but I'm not sure about the head itself.

No. I tried an EJ head on a 1200 block and with some mods it would fit (bore and bolt spacing are the same). Oil drain back, and locating points are different.
