Hey 2nd gen'rs, this board is not getting much action! I know a lot of stuff from the other 2 boards applies to us but lets show Richard there are some of us still interested. I'm starting a 2nd gen. roster call!

I'll answer the roll call. Bill, North Carolina. Proud owner of a 1982 Civic 1300 FE. Just completed dropping in a new 1500 short block with a rebuilt 1983 1500S head. Using stock 1300 ignition, carb, and tranny. Fresh engine and clutch. Hoping to get a little more power and 40+ MPG with the TALL gear ratio in the 1300 tranny. Also, I have 5 Civic 1200s !973 to 1976.

I dont know how easy to find or desirable these are, but I found 2nd-gen 1500-S at a salvage yard in Bartlesville OK. The front wheels are missing, but the rest seems to all be there. The owner wasn't there, so I dont know what killed it, or where it came from. Here's the name and phone number if anyones interested. R & K Salvage 918-534-2034 Oh, by the way, it's a black 5-speed.

Im a rare breed, a teenager with a civic that is older than he is, and im trying to get a bit more performance out of it on a tight budget. Already have an exhaust, wheels& tires, and intake system.
im running a 1300 motor with a 5 speed tranny and she runs great, just lacks a little pep(and funding!!)

I can say that Denver is doing well in the G2 department. I personally have an 80 1500 HB, an 82 wagon, and have recently built an 81 GL and wagon for two friends of mine. I love these cars and will always own at least one for the rest of my life. I also have access to many parts, as I work in a Honda only junkyard. Any questions please e-mail me.
