I have been searching locally for months and have had no luck finding an engine for my 1977 civic 1200. I love this little car and and I can't bear to part with it, but my father will not allow me to spend more than $400 on a new engine and wont let me go outside the state of Texas to get it. i cannot stand to lose my baby, she was my first car and many memories are in it. can anybody help me? I cannot rebuild mine, because it's got a couple thrown pistons and a cracked block, plus the transmission wont seperate from the motor without potentially destroying several things because a shitty mechanic stripped the bolt going through the starter and bellcrank housing into the block and it's stuck. I need this car to live again, I'm incomplete without it. I can deal with the starter and transmission issues and fix them, but the engine is a lost cause. Somebody please help! All I need is the parts and I can put it all together myself. I've been screwed by 2 salvage yards now and cannot stand dealing with them anymore. Help me please! Thanx!
