Hi I have just picked up a 1977 honda civic, 2 speed automatic. I am curious about doing this car up via an engine swap first, I have read alot of your posts about engine swaps so much so I think it should have it's own area. But I am wondering on the auto side of things what is the engine that will go on the same mounts and onto the transm,ission with no modification. people have told me a 1982 accord and some say civics, but I need an engine that goes stright in in a couple of hours and I am off. I am trying to achieve 100hp- 135hp if possible after adding carb,extractors,cam,exhaust and muffler to new engine and qucikshift kit on auto. Then nos is last stage. It will be driven on the street as well but I have heard that I think its ek1 engine will give me 78hp minus 10 for auto.
