Here is what one looks like installed. The fit is pretty good. The bottom corners aren't quite as good as factory but not bad.
One other good thing about it is it weighs about half what an original one does .

The inner chrome strip is no longer available I would source a seal from Aus, or NZ. I have not found any local suppliers that can get a seal. A friend of mine bought a crap load of seals from Spectrum, the service was good, I haven't seen the seals in person yet, but he said they fit well. The best part about the windshield seal is that it does not have the location for the inner chrome looks clean, especially if you don't have the inserts
You can try Mother's back to black for your original seal

Any good glass shop should be able to get a replacement rubber at time of installation. Mine cost around $50.00 US.

(1) Has anybody ordered one of those window seals from spectrum rubber in Australia?

If so were you happy with it (did it fit ok) and how long did it take to get?

(2) how long will a rubber window seal last before it dies, falls apart and starts to leak?

I am replacing my front windshield now, should I replace my 26 year old rubber windshield seal now at the same time? (It is ok but not great)

(3) is there any way to save a dying piece of rubber seal, something better than armour all to treat it?
