What year CRX jordan. From what you describe, It could be a clutch, but if your crx is 84-87 then it might be a clutch pedal assy bracket under the dash. I have changed out oodles of those things. The clutch would wear down and require a stronger effort to release the clutch.this is when the problem occurs. The pedal bracket can't take the extra effort needed to disengage the clutch and break. Then it would flex every time you push in the clutch pedal....I hope all this makes sense.....Rick

yes more than possible, the cluth its self is worn then if adjustment of the original cable dosen't give any change, i know both my civic and 4x4 shuttle have the very problems ur describing and after endless adjusting the clutches were worn to the rivits and needed replacing, time consuming job but worth the effort as its less pressure on the gear syncs (and the drivers temper for that matter)

So if i go back to original cable and it still doesn't help my situation then it could be the clutch?

if the crx cables longer then i would think the adjustment would be out...aka the clutch isnt engaging all the way when ur pressing the pedal in.

Hi all... need some help. Though i beleive i need a new clutch.

anyways

when i am in neutral and want to go again, it is very hard to put it into gear. I think it might be my clutch.

I also replaced my cable with a crx one when my cable broke. the crx cable was longer, would that make a difference? or would it be my clutch wearing out?
