Ok.. here's a suggestion...

There is a perfect place for a BBQ in Maple Ridge. Down in Maple Ridge Park. There is plenty of room for everybody's car and an undercover area in case it rains. Do we want to organize something like that.

It has to be in Maple Ridge since I drove all the way out to Richmond last time!

Remember that not every one has paypal (The PP bastards did not protect my money on a e-bay transaction). It takes time for international money orders and post. I do think more people than 10 should have kicked in though.

So I waited a while to post this because I honestly thought I would get more than just 10 donations from the hundreds of users who use this site.

But that is all that has come in (and I am very greatful to those 10 who have contributed so far).

I find it hard to believe that only 10 people value this board. Please make it worth my while to keep this board up. You may not see how much work goes into maintaining this board but it doesn't mean that it doesn't take work. This is the only time I ask for money and it has to cover my costs and labour for a whole year.

I am coming to you for the yearly donation rally. This board is a blessing to all of us but it takes resources (time and money) to keep it running smoothly. Especially the last few months I have been going crazy trying to keep it smooth.

I have decided that I will not ever make this site a pay site. It would lose the closeness that it has taken years to establish.
