Good find Kelly. The SE models were four door sedans? I would think you only need to do the basics, assuming the car is complete. Change the oil, filters, check the coolant level, tranny fluid, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, squirt WD-40 or some other lube into the cylinders, then turn the engine over by hand with a 19mm socket on the crank nut. If it turns over freely, then charge the battery, and try and fire it up. How it runs will tell you what needs attention next. Listen for strange noises, smoke from the engine compartment and tailpipe, etc. Before you drive it anywhere, check the brakes.

Of course, all this depends on how it's been stored. If there's a birds nest in the air cleaner housing, then you have a lot more work to do before firing it up. Good luck. Dan

I have a sweet deal for a '80 Accord SE for $100. Has 5 star 13" rims too. It is a purchase from a tow company who wants to make space in his yard. It has been sitting for 8-9 months. Is there anything I should do or look for specifically to get this car running?
Thanks
