Yes, it's rare. The problem is that over here most classic car enthusiasts will pooh-pooh Japanese cars or indeed anything connected to them. Take the Triumph Acclaim. Built by British Leyland and the most reliable thing to ever wear the Triumph badge it's basically a rebadged Honda Ballade and Triumph collectors hate it, because of its Japanese links.
So that's the reason why people aren't falling over themselves for it. It's Japanese. Had it been a Peugeot, Rover, or some other unreliable piece of crap, from that year and in that condition it would be a different story.
If only I had the money and a spare garage....
