I need help with my new "birth" (get the reference now?) ALL of your opinions are valued! I am first generation car guy and this is my first civic so take it somewhat slowly please.
Here is what I have:
73 with 82 1751 prelude motor bored .030 over by honda mechanic - not running but not dead.
stock 3 barrel keinin carb
80 civic 5 speed
cvcc full gages dash
set of 13 alloys - not great better than steel
extra body panels and trim of ALL types

Car was started (no duh, huh.) but the guy lost his job and now its in my garage.

my goal : a hot little car, but not too pricey
my question: You guys are the most knowledgible people in the known universe (not butt kissing, just truth) WHERE DO I START? Try to list the steps either by importance or chronological, your choice.
