Filling the floor? I think that's what I see on the EB3 race head I picked up this year. I was wondering what that stuff was:
carb side
header side

Personally unfamiliar with the term "filling the floor", are we raising the CR?

Bryan can do this for you. There is a 9-10CC diference between the eb1/2 "S" head and the eb3"H" head so becareful not to get the compression too high. Yes the small ports are much more responsive at the lower rpms. If I was going to use an Eb3 head I might consider filling the floor with epoxy.(if that was legal in your race class)

Don, I have read all the posts about EB2 heads and I have decided to use mine on a stock 1300 bottom end that I have. I have looked at the math and I think the compression will be ok and I intend to buy a cam accordingly.
You have said that they can be made to flow real well if they are done correctly. Could you help me with this or recommend someone who could?
Thanks,
Mike

ChemDip isn't the way to go (the chemical will leak out of the seams years later ruining your paint). Have it Sodablasted

Don, do you know of anywhere in the valley where I can get a shell chem dipped?
