John, do you happen to have a shop manual with a diagram? None of the manuals I have (Haynes, original Honda Service Manual, or How To Keep Your Honda Alive) have any illustrations or diagrams for the rear wiper (or air conditioning, another option for which I'm looking for diagrams). If you do, could you scan in the pages and e-mail them to me?

The motor is the same as the standard wiper motor from a Honda N600, or 600Z Coupe. All other parts save the switch are specific to the early Civic. Honda shop manuals usually have a working drawing of the assembly.

I do have a Civic hatch with the wiper, just the wiring harness is from the Accord. I was just wondering if the wiper hatch was different from the non-wiper hatch, other than the two holes for the washer and wiper arm. It's the washer that I don't have, and have no clue where it would mount.

I've tried the wiper assy from the first gen accord and second gen civic, neither of the motors will bolt up to the 1200 hatch You will have to modify the whole deal to get it in..

Does anyone have a rear wiper installed in their car? I have almost all the parts collected (Switch, wiring harness from an Accord that I hope fits, rear hatch with motor and stuff) that I need to install one, but I'm not really sure how the washer mounts, or how the wiring should be routed. Has anyone ever installed one, even if you don't own the car anymore? If anyone has any pictures, or spare rear wiper parts, please let me know. Thanks.
