I just did a prelude seat swap a few weeks ago. I took pictures and a video of the setup. The base of the seats are 16-1/2" centers. and the cushion is abot 20 or so inches wide.
I will try to get the pictures posted this week of the rails for you.

I want to install recaro seats in my Civic but the dimensions seems a little big and I'm not sure if it'll fit. It's 36" high and 21" wide at it's widest point. I've had a look at Randy's site and seen some real slick seat swaps, so does anyone have any advice? I know I'll have to engineer the mounting points but it's the size that worries me the most. I'll be measuring the Civic tomorrow but I'd really like to hear from anyone who has any advice or experience they'd like to share.
