keil....the hondamatic will still work, that area is seperate from the water portion, you can also crimp those opening, but sue..let me look I have some here someplace, your in Oregon right sue? the coring is a good idea if the core is bad but if your tanks are bad you might be able to have the holes brazed closed.

I need a good radiator for my 78 CVCC wagon. Mine has several leaks in the top tank. None of the radiator shops in the area seem to be able to find one. There is a company that's been listing radiators on eBay. I called them but they don't have any either. If anyone has one please let me know.

If you go to a good rad shop, or look at a local rad. wholesale company, they should be able to find some NOS Modine radiators. My local supplier did for me about 6 months ago. Also, look on ebay, I have seen them on there too.

I don't think they are all the same. The Hondamatic radiator has pipework through the bottom tank for transmission fluid and its drain plug is on the opposite end of the tank also.

I too have been looking for a radiator for my 78 wagon for several years now-no luck! Our supplier for radiators quit making then a long time ago and I haven't found any other company that makes them.
Anyone know of any???

Hi,
My radiaor has a sprung a small leak, and my local autoparts store told me the radiator is no longer available from their supply chain.
I am looking for an aftermarket replacement radiator for the car. Does anyone know of a good online source for one?
Also, do all 1st gen civics use the same radiator?
