Not too many people with early Civics in the Northeast, as I'm sure you know, the salt just kills them. I got some parts off a '78 1200 (factory A/C) a few months back from a yard in Mayfield, NY, about 30 miles west of Albany. The guy said he was getting another 3 in, all he had to do was go pick them up in Albany. Haven't heard back from him since. I'm in Northern NJ, there's a few people in Long Island, Pennsylvania, and Massachusettes, but most of these cars in the U.S. are left in the South and Northwest where rust is less prevalent. I've just started to really tear into my Civic (I'll post pictures later), but now I've gotta give the garage up again. Good luck with your project! Post Pictures!

i finally got around to rippin it apart
since i do autobody work
its easy for me to put a $3000 paint job on a car for $500
there is only minor surface rust on the floors
and the body and frame is free of any crunchy spots
this car is going to rock when its done
i already have dreams of fabricating parts at work
and im trying to decide colors, ill get it dressed in primer first
this is cool
