I am just looking at the brochure for the Canadian 83 Civic and the EN1 is listed as follows;
1,335 cc
72.0 x 82.0mm/2.83 x 3.23" bore & stroke
61 hp @ 5,500 rpm
10.3 kgm @ 3,500rpm (not sure what that is in lbs/ft)
8.4:1 compression ratio
Hope this helps

The EN came in the 80-83 Civic 3dr,5dr and Wagon.The EN was not available in the US.I think they produce about 65hp.

The heads are different. The EB3 head has a larger combustion chamber and larger valves so it runs domed pistons to get a decent C/R. The EB1 has a 70mm flattop pistons while the EB2/3 have 72mm pistons (EB2 flattop, EB3 domed).
The EN1 is an EB3 with an 82mm stroke instead of a 76mm stroke (both have 72mm bore). An EN1 is basically an EB3 with an EJ1 crank/rods, the factory just did the stroker conversion for you.
Pretty sure everything's interchangable between an EN1 and an EB3.
