and how is a flaring tool going to help if I just want to clamp the hose to the pipe? The stock fuel lines have a slight rib where the hose connects.. how do I do that?

what diameter pipe should I use? I'm hoping to eventually switch to efi and use the original fuel line as the return as many others have. so with that in mind would 8mm be large enough?

Put solid fuel lines through the cabin....I repeat-Put solid fuel lines through the cabin. Do not use rubber, neoprene, Gods special plastic or anything else but well mounted (every 6") steel, copper or braided fuel lines anywhere near a human body, Firewalls are called that for a reason, and I'm not joking. Flexible fuel lines in the cabin are as clever and safe as hand whittled, soft pine brake pads. Just dont.

Can anyone offer a n00b's guide to making your own fuel lines? Questions that come to mind are:
what tools do i need?
what sort of pipe to use?
where can i buy all this stuff?
thanks in advance
