I noticed the EF is already on your chart. That just leaves the EC EG and EL.I know I have the specs on the EL somewhere. Not sure about the EC EG.I'll do some searching and get back to you.

That is a cool site! Thanks for the link Charles.

Actually, there was a Jap EW that was cvcc. My brother owns one! They also came out with EFI. The ECU also runs the CVCC ER Honda city turbo motor quite happily. There are derivitives of engines and then derivatives of the derivatives! Jap cvcc efi version came out with 100hp.

BTW if anyone in Aus (SA) wants a complete import cvcc EW 84 model 25i civic with slight frontal damage for next to nix let me know. They are a very quick little motor with 100hp straight out of the box.

By H (24.67.134.220) on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 - 09:42 pm:

Whoooppsss.Yes you are correct Adrian.Thats a typo. Both the EV and EW are non cvcc engines and are of the "crossflow design"

By Adrian (Evocivic) (165.228.11.61) on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 - 09:38 pm:

The RS had a 5-speed and it was around in 74-75.

Also,in the "Additional Information" it states "The 75-79 CVCC was the only first gen engine equipped with a 5spd transmission (the 1200 would not be able to pull the gear ratio properly)"this is incorrect. In non US markets the 78-79 1200's could be had equipped with a 5spd trans.(This model had the deluxe gauges, but did not have the wood wheel or wood shift knob). And of course the Specail X which also had the 1200 and a 5spd.

By Adrian (Evocivic) (165.228.11.61) on Tuesday, January 20, 2004 - 09:27 pm:

The EW is not CVCC (at least the Australian delivered EW2s aren't).
