you ned to get hold of the gear to do it as i said it cost me $55 and that got me the dizzy,with cap but the standard cap can be used if in better condition, the coil the wiring and the nec ignitor just simply take your old dizzy out at tdc comp. no. 1set the new dizzy to number 1 (it will have a mark but you can check ,just make sure the rotor button is pointing at the lead that runs to number one .then swap the coil , you still need a capacitor(little round cylinder thing usually ) and just wire it up to the wires you removed its very similar then set your timing andthats it you will need to mount the nec ignitorinto the fire wall but its really easy and takes about an hour going slow. as i said my performance is up and although i still havent used a full tank as yet so i cant be sure but fuel consumption also seems to be down ,even though ive been giving it a hiding

just put the electronic ign. out of a 1300 on my 78 1200 and was wondering if anyone has ever tried the carb, is it the same or bigger ? does it fit ? is it worth while at all . By the way if anyone is considering electronic ign. i recommend it no more points ,set the timing and thats it and for a measely $55 dollars from the local inbred at the wreckers why wouldnt you.
