Check out the new Mazda 3 5 door in titanium. Would look great on the wagon with 16" Charcoal wheels and a polished lip. Would really show off those brakes.......

Well, I think I'm staying with the same color and might go back to a civic SI(R)wheel.. but I was at the local wrecker's on monday and came across a set of 15" Panasports! 4x100 15x6, I'll try them on the car and actually see what they look like in real life

hey justin how did u get those rims to tuck under the fender wells? are they flared? thanks

By Justin (24.69.255.203) on Friday, February 13, 2004 - 08:40 am:

I have a 12.1 front rotor with nsx calipers, the rear is going with 11.3 rotors, if I went down to a 11.3 on the front it would clear a 15" wheel..

actually your wagon is what i'm going to go for w/ the grey and the Si rims. What brakes require 16's?

hey Justin I was wondering if you did that with a computer program or what?

The brighter the color, the farther away the cops can get a bead on you. The brighter the color the quicker the thieves can zero in on you too.

Hey Justin
You should paint it orange to match twyla's car. Then when you eventually get your trailer done up you two will look sooooo cute driving down the road side by side. Awwwww..... haha

I can paint the car for you for a good price. Just as long as it's a flat finish. :) We can test it out on Peter PAO!'s car can see how you like it.

I'm not sure on the color either :( The wheels picked are chopped in they are 18", they are ARE'sI'll go with 16". The car won't be as low as the pic, and no tint. I can keep the same red, but with doing the B16 swap, the whole front end will be repainted, and the original job, did not have enough clearcoat, so I'm tossing up the idea of a color change.. The bolt pattern will be 4x100 not a 5 bolt. I'm leaning towards the orange, but I'm going to try the new 04 civic magnesium metallic Color Any other color's you guys think of?

I like your wagon just the color it is! As I was heading home from Hondapalooza last year, I saw (and heard)your car coming up the canyon to Estes Park. It looked great! It's in a color that some might think is stock, but when you hear the engine and see the stance, you know the car is special. That's what I like about it!

As far as the wheels, my tastes are more on the line of Compomotive's Motorsport range - a world apart J

But hey, from what I've seen of your work, I'm sure whatever you choose will look great!

Post away jacob!!

i like H's idea of the new S2000 charcoal grey, or maybe the white pearl. nothing i can picture other than black would go with those wheels

maybe a white car with CTR wheels, im guessing you did a 5-lug conv. when you put the nsx brakes on?

By Jacob (67.170.131.249) on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 - 07:20 pm:

BenchMark Fab&Finish in Corvallis did a killer resto of a '69 Camaro pace car. Pacecars were white with orange racing stripes and orange accents.

The paint on this car was white with "hugger" orange flake mixed in. At a glance it was white, but there was something a little different. When the sunlight hit it, the orange jumped out, kind of like the color of a Orange Cream ice cream.

I have some pics, but by the time I grabbed my camera the sun had kind of disappeared, the orange is not as evident in the pictures. I can post them if you'd like.

Why are you painting it anyway? I like the look of the red - its classic.

Dig the wheels, keep it dumped, killer photoshop job, and I'm not sure either color actually looks better than the metallic red you've got now. What about a white with a heavy pearl, or white with an orange/pearl clear coat?

But the hugger orange is growing on me.

By farenheight101 (24.69.255.203) on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 - 06:46 pm:

The orange looks awesome! Is the factory orange like that?

By H (24.67.134.220) on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 - 06:46 pm:

Those wheels are sweet. I don't care for those colors though.I would like to see your wagon painted the new dark charcoal grey on the S2000.

By Jonathan (68.193.10.141) on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 - 06:41 pm:

Personally, I like the second color better. It stands out more than the grey. The wheels look a little big, almost like something you'd see out of a cartoon, but if you're into that, hey, who am I to say what's cool or not. The wheels may look a little better if the car wasn't so low, or maybe a little smaller wheel in the same pattern would look good. Good luck with whatever you decide to do, and keep us posted on how it turns out.
