Just did one, tons of info on both the adapters and the conversion. Sorry to ask this question yet again. Thanks all!

I think that you can not use wheel adapters if you are going to race, but for just driving around they are ok. At least that is what I have gathered from the previous posts on this site.

4x100 wheels are SO much easier to come by, aren't they?!

I've never used wheel adaptors or spacers myself but I know some folks with experience. Personally I don't think I'd use 'em. They might make too much of a difference with wheel backspacing, etc which might cause premature wheel bearing wear, etc.

While you were checking out Randy's site, did you take a look at the 4x100 conversion how-to there? Lots of great pictures, good descriptions and even part numbers listed for what you need! You WILL also find lots on this subject right here by running a search with the side toolbar (keyword search) just type in "4x100 conversion" and be amazed.

Personally, I think I'd go with the 4x100 hub/brake conversion and probably will once that part of my project comes around.

Continuing on my quest for rims I was looking through 1stgencivic.com and found a link to wheel adapters by AIM. They have a 4x120 to 4x100 adapter that's only 1.25" thick.

First, has anyone used these? Do the space the wheel ok? And does anyone know if they are $44 each or for four? - the site doesn't make that clear. Thanks!
