The show will be on Saturday, August 21, 2004.

The location is Canadian Tire, 4100 Garden St. Whitby, Ontario. The store is at the corner of Taunton Rd. and Garden St., real easy to find actually.

I won't have a car there (mine's in pieces) but I'm hoping to see some of you folks, I know there's quite a few of you guys with really nice machines which will really enhance the show!

WOW!! This is fantastic response, guys! Verne will for sure be happy to have you all there.

The show takes place at the new Canadian Tire store on Taunton Rd in North Whitby. I don't have an exact date yet, but will post it as soon as I get the info.

I'm hoping the show is bigger than last year, it was a new thing then and there wasn't much turnout! Plus, with alot of Sport Compact type cars showing up, the old guys didn't want to bring their streetrods there. Colin, you could also let your Dad know about it too, would sure be nice to see him and your Mom and The Merc there, if they felt like a road trip back in this way.

Looking forward to meeting all you folks who I haven't met yet. I'll be the guy showing my ratty old Converse shoes!

Date/time and any registration info forthcoming. Any and all other area folks who haven't chimed in are also welcome.

I know there's a few of you folks around my area. The reason I'm asking, is that my brother-in-law organises a car show in Whitby during the summer. This year will be the second year for it.

We were discussing it when I was out visiting him at his shop in Hampton this weekend, they welcome "anything with wheels." As many of you know, our local cruise nite scene is dominated by old fogeys who can't see anything built after about 1970 and in North America as cool.

I thought this might be a cool opportunity to meet some of the local guys whom I haven't yet, as well as giving my brother-in-law a hand to build his car show. The kid works really hard at what he does and deserves to see it grow (not to mention my baby sister pours her heart into it, too).

If any of you guys are by chance interested, post it here and I'll post firm date and time details, as well as directions as soon as they're available to me.
