Kurt-
The gear is out of a 81 P'lude. With a few small mods, it should fit up nicely. I'll try looking around here for those knobs, too. I'll get back to ya.

Kurt, good luck getting the knobs from Honda. I tried San Leandro Honda and Majestic Honda, neither one could get them. I even tried my local dealer. If you do find a place that sells them, please get me a set too!

Basically I need everything to install A/C in my car. I believe I can still get the knobs from Honda but I need the compressor, bracket and whatever sits in the glove box (vents and stuff). Is this out of a CVCC Civic?
Thanx,
Kurt

Kurt!
You're in luck! I've got the compressor you want of my parts car! Do you need anything else off the A/C stuff?
Also, If you decided to sell those gauges, let me know. I'd like to make an offer.

The deluxe gauges I will likely sell but I have to test them to make sure they work first. Same thing with the rad as it was just sitting in the back of one of the cars. Its an OK shape a few of the cooling fins are a little bent. I was going to use it in my car but the car never seems to get realy got with the stock 2 core rad.
Plude716 - I am looking for A/C to fit a CVCC, EL or EK (I believe they are all the same). I found one on Salts Spring Island here in BC in the fall but the guy will only sell the whole car and its way too much with no title

Holy Emails!
- I will be using the AM/FM radio, the overhead console, rear view mirror, voltage reg (its new), cigarette lighter and possibly the reverse lights. The rest I will likely sell down the road. I'll let every one know.
Anyone ever seen those Enkeis? Here is the AM/FM radio, I think its a factory one?

For the first time in a long time I was able to go scrounging for old Civic parts and thought I would share my finds...
Its not much but its just what I needed to motivate myself to finish the car. It gets lonely in Hope
List includes: 3 core rad, deluxe gauges, overhead console (Finally!), 2 sets of all red tail lights, AM/FM stock radio, Enkei 13x5 mags, door seals, chrome door/bidy trim, a perfect back seat, etc...This is my third set of deluxe gauges so they will likely end up on ebay or in the classifieds.
here is the Enkei wheels. I need a fourth one though. Kind of ugly but he threw them in. He had a set of 13" Accord turbines but they were already sold.
Imaging the look on my face!
Lastly, the main reason for the post is that the guy is a Datsun guy and has two of these cars just sitting in the field behind his house. He has an EL motor with 5 speed already pulled and both cars had boxes of Civic parts in them with starters, rads, alternators, cables, etc. Both cars are salvagable and he says he has titiles for both cars. The better of the two (yellow 76) has perfect rear quarters and the rockers are just starting to go. Engine is stripped but its a decent shell if anyone needs one. Let me know if anyone needs parts or is interested in the cars.
