if all else fails, put your jack under it to put enough pressure on it so it won't turn.

I'd take a thread file to it, make it spin on with your fingers. They don't need to be tight...just snug, then you put in the cotter pin in to hold it snug.

Make sure the threads are clean and undamaged and the nut goes on easily when it is apart (clean with a tap and/or die as appropriate). Push the taper into its hole as hard as you can and screw the nut on. A rattle gun makes it easy
but the CV joint tends to get in the way.

I was wondering the best way to tighten the nut on the ball joint? on the lower arm. I try to tighten the nut and the whole ball joint turns. Thanks in advance.
