lol ya I felt pretty bad stripping the poor guys suspension then leaving him there with his car on jacks as he was swearing and getting upset with a 30 cent (obsolete) washer that wasnt working out for him!

Hey Puff
Then it's a darn good thing we didn't scratch them up when we stripped the springs out of his car. :)

Make sure they're cross drilled and/or slotted!

Thats the prob with my wheels. Spent all the time getting my rotors cross drilled, all new brake parts, bearings, etc and the friggn' wheels hide it all :(
I need Pana's !!!

Well Parker, not sure how similar the rear setup is on a 2nd gen wagon, but I'm using 2" lowering blocks, about another 1" of spacers and new U-bolts. The problem is that with certain size wheels the rear shock mount/shackle interferes, so what we did was take the left side shackle, flip it over, notch it so the leaf springs sit on the flat surface again, and used it on the right side =) then the same for the other side. Its kinda hard to explain, if it stops raining I'll get you some pictures

ps. don't you love how well the brakes will show up doing the 4 wheel disc swap with those wheels, I can hardly wait

By Parker (24.98.213.4) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 09:36 pm:

yes i have an 80 wagon Kyle, good memory!

By 1300dx (68.98.54.49) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 08:38 pm:

window tint! The wheels look awesome, colors are great but you need some tint on those windows!!!

By farenheight101 (24.69.255.203) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 07:27 pm:

I think that wheel to body combo looks sweet! Any dark colored rim looks great on anything, especially with rims like those.

GO FOR IT!!

They come in bronze (darker than it looks in the pic) and silver, and the silver just looks really boring. I think the bronze will look best with any of the color ideas I have for when I finally get it painted properly. And for now I kinda like the "dark" look of it

ps. Parker, don't you have an 80 wagon?

I like the chrome against the black. Keep it :)

By firstgenhondas (69.197.56.18) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 05:43 pm:

Do they come in a gunmetal/anthracite finish? I had a black Acura with gunmetal wheels and it looked really good. I think the gunmetal finish would probably suit it a little better than the bronze finish, just my opinion though.

By Colza (219.88.29.141) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 05:17 pm:

Im afraid I'd have to say bronze on black is not my fav option. Bronze on white maybe...

Not a bad paint job though!

By Kyle Thomson (24.69.255.203) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 08:06 am:

Who painted it? I did!! lol, it was raining that day so you can't really tell but its flat black, and really who can screw up flat black? sure its half assed but its better than 3 shades of brown, and I want it to fo fast before I worry about paint

By John S. (64.12.116.210) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 12:56 am:

Scrounge up s spare set of door handles, sandblast them and paint them black like the rest of the car. And while you are at it a black mirror would look cool too. Just a thought...

By Kurt (142.179.34.133) on Friday, March 26, 2004 - 12:14 am:

Kyle, when you paint the car? Who did it? I am taking mine down on Saturday for estimates - Andre's for sure, amybe others if anyone knows any good ones?

By Knifeboy (142.173.4.227) on Thursday, March 25, 2004 - 08:47 pm:

Hey all, I'm putting my income tax rebate to good use this year and doing a 4x100 swap on my wagon, just thought I'd get your opinions on which wheels I should buy. I'm pretty sure I want to get 15x6.5 Konig Heliums in bronze, because of their light weight and size, let me know what you think
