If you have recently had the timing belt off you may have it off by a tooth, or, you may be starving for fuel, the lean mix may cause these symptoms.

*I meant disconnected all lines leading to the control box except the vaccumm advance

I read a little about aux o-ring seals and I am starting to lean towards that. There is a funny smell and everything. Pops a little and the idle jumps a bit on misfire . I was told check for vaccumm leak. I even replaced the intake manifold gasket. Disconnected all vaccumm lines leading to and only left the Vac adv connectedthe control box trying to make sure it was not the culprit. new wires cap rotor and plugs. Plugs are still fouling particularly #3 it seems to get the worst.
The main question I have is if these aux seals are bad on this cvcc engine would it decrease teh compression. Cuz the comp readings range from 120 to 130 on all cylinders 130 on #3 the one that seems to be fouling most?
Checked timing and all that jazz . Even tried using a timing light on all cylinders to make sure its sparking. To the best I can tell they are all sparking on time.
*Starts misfireing about 15 to 20 secs after engine starts
*Misfires worse at high idle and surges while dirving
*Seems the misfire gets a little less worse when the engine warms up
*Funny exaust smell when you rev the engine
*Extremly poor gas milage 17mpg
*Very pissed off and frustrated owner (That would be me)
