I have one of those cute little plastic "Sport Mirrors" for the driver's door of my Civic. Unfortunately, being here in Ontario (rust capital of the UNIVERSE), it's pivot inside pretty much disintigrated...

I'm in the process of rebuilding the pivot and I think I've found a workable solution. I was wondering, just "how tight" are the pivoting mechanisms supposed to be in these mirrors? Should you be able to move them (somewhat) easily by hand, or should there be alot of effort to adjust the glass?
