haha, i was asking what colour the seal around you rim is because my dad is the (only?) person that makes bullitt mirrors with black seals around the mirror.
Everyone else makes the white/clear coloured seals.
Where did you get it from Glenn?
When's is your car going to be completely finished for the track?

Chris

The seal on my bullet mirrors are white with the base gasket being black. I went with the bullet mirrors in the end as I never found any chrome mirrors I liked (I wanted a 78-79 replica). I drilled my mounting holes as close to the front of the doors as it would allow. I'm still hanging as to the way they will look

im almost certain the seal is black

just choppd the springs and put cable ties on to hold the spring in place so it doesnt bounce out

works well

i must say that going around corners isnt the best but, it has solved my traction problems in a straight line, almost no wheel spin @ 14psi of boost , car drives like its on rails

but don what your saying is right u should do shock mods

Getting that low without causing major problems in handling would require major suspension relocation. I suspect people doing this don't care about handling or ride or bump steer. If they do they are setting themselves up for disappointments. Getting a Civic that low without shortening the struts will leave you with no wheel travel at all and without adjustable camber caster plates the alignment will not even be as good as a bone stock Civic.

how is everyone getting it so low, I cut some springs and it dropped an inch or so, if I cut anymore off the spring wouldnt fit on the strut it was too short

We dropped my '79 hatch onto its bumps yesterday. THAT looks low ;) Although i would have to say that it is only a little lower than the civic in those pics. I wont dare to ask how little spring there is left on his struts...

I think that's Frito's web site. I've seen him host pictures from there before. That is a rather low Civic.
