Vanessa, glad to hear you can drive sanely again! If your brake light is coming on, I'd still check the fluid level in your master cylinder. Better safe than sorry!

thanks! it was nonstop today so i drove over to my honda guy and freaked out hard! he felt sorry for me and fixed it and said he was definitely glad i didnt have a gun because i was so tense.
he pulled the door nipple out and pulled the wires apart and then did some voodoo that made it all end. praise the lord! silence! now the brake light doesnt bother me as long as its QUIET>
thanks again

Vanessa, does the buzzing happen when you have your seatbelt buckled, or only when you have it off? There is a buzzer that reminds you to buckle your seatbelt in US models. Sometimes the timer goes bad and it comes on randomly, but usually when there's a change in electrical draw to the car (like when your brake lights go on). The "fasten seatbelts" light is right below the brake light, maybe that's what you're seeing? The buzzer is under your dash, to the left of the steering column. Should have a yellow and a red/blue wire to it. You can just disconnect the wires from the buzzer. I had my dash out last night and could have taken a picture of it, but it's back in now. I might still be able to get a picture, don't know how clear it will be though. If you want to replace the timer, it's a goldish looking box with three wires going to it (Blue/Yellow, Yellow, and Black). I'll check on that one tonight too, there might not be a black wire, it might ground through the body of the timer.
If that doesn't work, there's another buzzer for the door. That wouldn't make any dash lights come on, though. The switch for that buzzer is on the doorjamb, towards the back and the bottom.
The last thing to check is your brake fluid level. If you're a little low, that might be causing the light to come on, but I didn't think there is a buzzer associated with it.
