Andrew, I've called them several times over the last three years and they always say they don't have them anymore. They ought to get rid of that page.

I've put the rear disc brakes from a 2nd Gen Prelude on the Accord stub axles with no modifications while I was at the salvage yard. I don't know what type of issues you would have with the hoses or cables yet I was just having fun. I don't have an accord anymore so that is how I get my fix from time to time. At the same yard I saw a 2nd gen accord (Non EK) engine in a first gen accord. This leads me to assume you could swap in the Prelude version of this motor that doesn't have cvcc and does have stock sidedrafts (not that there as cool as webers but they would be cool just the same). I think you would have to swap the Prelude hubs and bearings into your front knuckles for this to work (you'd also get the 4x100 bolt pattern to match your rear discs The best thing when I had my car was the salvage yard. Spend sometime there just seeing what fits, you'll be surprised.

Welcome to the board! There's a couple of us Accord owners here, but not many. Anyway, the only readily available upgrades for the EK1 are the Weber 32/36 downdraft conversion kit, and various custom cam regrinds (I got one from Colt Cams). A used EL head can be purchased from salvage yards in Canada. You'll need the early 79-81 head. I got one shipped from Vancouver in about a week. Sidedraft intakes pop up on e-bay every once in a while, but a header is hard to find. I haven't seen one for sale in a long time, so you may be stuck porting out a stock exhaust manifold, or getting a custom made header.
Good luck with the build up. Dan

Wow, just when i was about to give up on trying to find anything aftermarket for my ek1 accord, i stumble onto this site. I need some help figuring out what to do to unleash the hidden HP in my engine. i have a pretty good idea of what i need to do, just dont know where to start. im pretty sure i need to get ahold of a el non-cvcc head, and definatly some new oversized pistons. considering i work for honda, stock parts are not a problem to get for cheap. i want to lower it 2" amd do somthing with sidedrafts, i just dont know where to begin, and what all is swap-able, any of you guys help?
