I was running for a few weeks without the interior.. just a driver's seat, dash, seatbelt and a shift knob.. it was awesome if not a bit loud.

I had a line on a roof but it sold before I could grab it

The wiring in the rear is a bit funky so I am installing the all red rear lights. and the reverse lights i think are just not wired.

This will be the 3rd time I have owned this car
(should never of sold it in the first place)

Yah I could drive mine was acctually thinking of doing it a week ago but I would have to reinstall all the interior. I also have to address the rear suspension as the lower controle are is bent.

heheh.. mine needs the same treatment I think ;) I'm just ignoring it for now.. You could probably just fab a roof out of some light gauge sheet metal. it's not a very complex shape.. or you could braze and fill the holes.. JC Whitney is supposed to still have some body parts, so you could call them. The electrics probs may just be the fuses, a short in the harness, the main battery fuse or a sign of a dead charging system/battery.. hope it all goes well.. I wanna see more civics on the road.. and you couldn't choose a better time with gas at the price it is.. :) If you want to meet up and shoot the breeze, just email me at bluedawg @ gmx . net

Unfortunatly its not on the road

I have to replace some sheet metal in the floor and put a new roof skin in.

the motor runs and everything except the rear brake lights and reverse lights work.

I was hoping to be driving it by july but I have yet to find a roof skin. so im going to do it up nice now and hopefully have it on the road by next summer.

If I can find another one to drive around while im fixing this one that would be sweet.

Yeah, Kurt, I think I've seen pics of yours on line...maybe Randy's site? Yours is the trunk model, right? How's it coming along, BTW?

Actually, I've noticed a nice looking green colour on some fairly late-model Chevy Venture minivans lately...kinda like "that 70's green," but a bit darker and a very fine metallic. Think it might look kind of nice on these cars.:)Colour choice is a long way off for me, though! Got LOTS to do to my little car before a paint job becomes reality.

Regards,
Shea:)

By Shea Laking (Sheaman71) (66.185.85.79) on Thursday, May 13, 2004 - 10:40 pm:

Hmm...John Deere Green, huh?

Funny, I was tossing that idea around between my two brain cells. Strange how different folks come up with similar ideas. :)

If that purple car is the one everyone's thinking of, it's one sweet looking car!:)

Regards,
Shea:)

The purple one is most likely the elusive Lamb Designs body kit, there's been pictures of a purple one floating around that had BC plates on it. Stop him next time you see him =)

By Chaffneue (Chaffneue) (64.180.112.150) on Thursday, May 13, 2004 - 06:30 pm:

I've seen some nice civics driving around

a john deere green one at shelbourne
a blue one at quadra
a really nice red one heading up to langford
and a purple one with a body kit..

anyone in the area know who these people are? are they on the board?
