Glenn you are right, Civic and Lude redesigned for 88 and Accord redesigned for 86

So was it the Prelude that got the redesign at the same time as the Civic and the Accord 2 years off?

Sorry, no advice in the area of power windows. But I was looking a putting power door locks in my 1st gen crx and found that it was helpful when trying to refit items from other models to stay within the same generation. I believe 86 was the first year of the 3rd generation Prelude and the third year of the 3rd gen Civic.

Has anyone put power windows in their 1 gen? I picked up a set of motors, hinges and switches from an 86 Prelude. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on putting them in.
