Thanks for the tip. After one store ordering the wrong pins, I went to a different store and they ordered what I needed. Didn't even occur to me that the parts house would have them. Thanks Rich, I'm back on the road!

I'll check the local parts stores today, but usually the only thing they carry for brakes are the pads. Thanks.

A local auto parts store sold me some all the pins and clips for both brakes as a kit. it came with tractor clips, pad retaining cleevis pins and anti-rattle springs. It was made by carlson and it was called an "axle kit" on the receipt..

Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me out. I'm in a real pinch. I have a 79 CVCC and I need a brake pad retaining pin for the front brake assembly. It's part #45220-657-671. It's the pin that holds the pads in the caliper assembly.
I ordered two from hondaautomotiveparts.com and they only sent me one because they're discontinued (argh, thanks Honda) and they couldn't locate another one.
This is for my daily driver, and I've already been off the road for a week. I'm needing my car really bad, so if you have one and would be willing to ship it to me, please e-mail me at brian_wilborn@hotmail.com.
Thanks,
Brian
