samdavid,
Patience (and $) is the watchword for finding parts for these little cars, PARTICULARILY performance parts. Most everything has been discontinued so you have to hunt down second hand pieces. Occasionally there is a run of new tube exhaust headers set up, if enough people commit to it-they're pretty pricey, though. Watch the "ClassiFED" ads here because people sometimes sell Hi-Po goodies. You could also check out E-Bay as stuff comes up over there as well. Best of luck with your parts search.
P.S. Randy's site is BACK!!
Regards,
Shea

Chaffneue thanks for your very kind offer.
More powerful forces have already made it clear that the site is not going down.
I just finished writing a support ticket to my provider about my concerns and their response was hardware failure; last time it was driver failure. I wonder how their customers feel that depend on them for e-commerce. It seems to happen too much.
As it turns out I have until June 10th to decide. So I am waiting for their response.
What also makes it so frustrating is that I was moving the second gen site to here as well when it went down for 1-1/2 days. I had big plans for the 1stgencivic.com site, but this has burst the bubble, as well as a few other things.
At this point I have too many thing up in the air and I hate to leave things unfinished. It would be easier to let the current site go and put it back up when I find a new provider as well as finish the site upgrades I wanted to do.

Randy if you want me to host it, I'll put it on my home PC's web server... There's too much info on there to get rid of it.. unless of course you're just egging us on. :D
Let Me know.

I just had the same problem with my web site.... I'm looking for a new provider if I can't get one running through my cable modem.
Randy's site was far better than mine though, hopefully it will be back with all it's information soon!

Hey guys,
Ted emailed me with the same problem Friday. I thought the site was down thats all, I complained to my provider about it last week and the problem was fixed. Then Ted said it was the same message you guys are getting. I only ever got that message once. I reset my Internet explorer and cleared my history and then it was fine but that was a few weeks ago.

jms,
When you try to access Randy's site, does it say forbidden? I have been trying to access it for a couple of weeks with no luck. I heard Randy was revamping it, but I haven't had the opportunity to speak with him yet.
