I frequent an old Chevy Truck board, too. One day, I hope to own a '47-'53 half ton.

The same backbiting, crap, etc. goes on there, only FAR WORSE!

At least over here, I haven't yet seen any off topic discussion like religion or politics, which as far as I'm concerned, have NO PLACE on a car discussion forum.

I've had questions ignored a time or two, but at least I'm lucky enough to have a couple of other local boys who've "been there, done that" if I have questions.

Y'all are right, s#!t stinks, but it also sinks, if you just let it go.

Besides, it IS Summertime, shouldn't we all be out enjoying the weather, or working on our cars, or something?

We're so spread out. We're all over the world. If we were closer, we could hang out and stuff while making more memories. It would be great if we could all tour around or go to car shows. A burger burn sounds good. Like everybody else, I do what I can during the daily grind so I have little time for anything else. Anyway, we're still here, but with issues I guess.

Is it just me or does this happen on every single online forum ever made? Ignore the trolls and they disappear. The board is fine and I get helpful answers to questions no matter how boneheaded they are. I've got a working car because of this board and I thank everyone for that. Making threads like this just bums me out more than the useless messages do, so just email the moderator and let them know which threads are a problem. I like the board and I'd really like to see some more discussion from the oldschool guys (the fastest civic discussion was the reason I own a first gen now... hehe ). If you find a thread that bugs you, refrain from replying to it and instead notify someone taking care of the board.. it gets everyone's hackles up when the crap keeps floating to the top of the message stack.

I don't know about the rest of you, but this board has taken a nose dive recently. The regular contributors are nowhere to be found (maybe they are tired of this crap as well), and the content of some of the discussions suck.
I have found that there is less benificial information as of late, and far more whining, bitching, cry baby pre-school mentality, I have better conversations with my 4 year old daughter.
Where are the moderators through all of this?
This board is a benifit to all of us who enjoy owning these neat little cars, and the knowledge that each of us hold is a benifit to one another. I for one miss the "how to's" that were once associated here, instead we have foul language and threatening context that has no benifit to any of us.
Please stop the grade school bull$hit, and get back to the interesting and informative content that once was the Civic 1200 discussion board, or I for one will reconsider my future financial contributions to this board.
I regret being so blunt, but come on guys, we are all adults here, lets act as such.
