What we used to do was go to various carpet shops and see if they had any sample pieces for sale if we needed any over mats. About a quid each they used to be and we had the only Mk1 Civic with Axminster carpets!

Home Depot.. costs about $25 for carpet
If you need new underlay get it from an upholstery shop. costs about $20 for that.
Try to carefully remove the rubber bits and the ebrake cover.. they're not easily replaceable.
I used 4x12 for the carpet
Used 3x6 for underlay.
I bought a little floormat carpet kit so I didn't get dirt all over the real carpets and that was another 20.
