Wow, how cool. It is nice to see all the Honda series taking off now and more people coming back to racing Honda's. Let us know if you have any more info or pics on the older series, I'd love to see 'em.

Nice ot see series that aren't super spendy to compete

For those who don't live in Canada, the Honda Michelin challenge series returned to Ontario race tracks with the May 24th long weekend at Mosport Park after a 12 year absence.
The series started in 1976 In Quebec as the Volant Quebecois. In 1980 it became the Honda Goodrich challenge, and in 1984 the Honda Michelin series.
The cars were alway base models for affordabilty with the only modifications being a roll cage, 5 point belts and a window net. No alterations were allowed, and random inspections would lead to disqualification. Later years allowed for open exhaust.
In the final year (1992) they ran Civic Si hatchbacks under the same guidelines.
This year they are using the '04 Civic DX coupe.
