yes colza the exhaust is WAY too low! in fact i think that he can`t ride in our chilean streets with that exhaust so close to the ground
By Colza (Colza) (210.54.103.9) on Monday, June 07, 2004 - 01:29 am: |
Is it just me or is that exhaust RATHER close to the ground there...

Felipe I'll take some pics tonight! Darrell I just hit the local metal supermarket and get it from them. $20.00 cad. for both pieces..

I also used square tubing, but I did a crappy job. I assume all measurements will be different if we all install different seats, but here's my question... Justin where do I find square tubing? I found some on ebay. Do you have a good source?
By felipe casanova (216.72.170.82) on Friday, June 04, 2004 - 08:47 am: |
hey justin could you please post me a draw of where i have to put the square tubing?¡
By Justin (24.69.255.203) on Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 09:06 am: |
Felipe, the easiest way to install the seats is to mount the front rails to the existing crossbar and then add a new rear support, I just did the Porsche seats in my wagon, I did the exact samething. I used 1/8" 2"x2" alluminum square tubing..

no im not running carry springs...because i don`t have $$$ and should fit between 90 and 2000
the blue street civic is runnig carry springs
By lazy (165.228.57.19) on Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 06:31 am: |
we get them here in Australia.. what year? My resource list them as being manufactured every year since 1976.
Are you running the carry springs?
By felipe casanova (200.30.232.213) on Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 06:24 am: |
well the springs are of a suzuki carry i don`t think that in usa or canada exists this vehicle they are mini-mini vans just for transport small things
By lazy (165.228.57.19) on Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 06:19 am: |
what are the springs? how much do they lower the car?
By felipe casanova (200.30.232.213) on Wednesday, June 02, 2004 - 06:15 am: |
well jared the money isn`t arrived yet but i think that should be here soon las time took about 2 weeks and no i haven`t rims
about the yellow civic is turbocharged but the turbo boosts too up in rpm actually he is doing the same time i do in 1/4mile and i have intake, cam, head mods
and for max yes that thing is the wastegate and is not odd going without the grill in fact im also riding without the grill (more cold air for intake)and it`s too easy put it on or out and finally here everybody cuts the springs, but i discovered a set of spring that leave the civs lower and stiff and they cost 50usd the pair!!! :P
last two pics are my civic and me
By Junior (152.163.253.33) on Tuesday, June 01, 2004 - 10:36 pm: |
Hey Felipe, any more informations on the yellow Civic? Is it turbo charged? Thanks.
By Max (Max) (67.162.184.219) on Tuesday, June 01, 2004 - 05:44 pm: |
I have no clue but my dad said it might be a waste gate for a turbo on that yellow one and there is no grill...(thats odd)
max
