well Fastenall has the right thread but the length will be just barely long enough, Home Hardware does have the bolts too but they are way too short but i picked some up anyway, if worse comes to worse i can just lengthen them ghetto style :D thanks for your help guys, if the Fastenall ones aren't long enough i will be checking those places out.

now, can anyone help me locate an EK block :)

try pacific fasteners their on first just off Boundry in Bby.
bring in a bolt that fits the the stand so they can find the proper threading.

i have been all over Richmond and Surrey looking for 10mm fine thread bolts (the ones that hold the transmission on) so that i can mount my block to an engine stand, i would use the tranny bolts but they are about an inch too short. does anyone know of a place i can get these? tomorrow i will be checking Fastenall in richmond and Bow wow autoparts in vancouver. i have already been to Canadian Tire, Home Hardware, Home Depot, Air Arms, Maddocs and NAPA. i'm told there is a place in Port Kells called Fuller but i don't want to make a trip all the way out there if i don't have to.
thanks
Andrew
