Assuming what you have is a Honda part the closest I can think of is the piece that attaches in front of the heater fan housing and collects outside air from the channel in the engine bay. I don't think it has a separate parts number or specific name. It's part of the heater assembly (part# 39210-634-673 for a 78-79 Civic) which is a single unit by the look of it.

BTW, I don't think the flux capacitor had a cover, wasn't it just attached to the 'bulkhead' behind Michael J Fox?

Andy, is there any kind of part number on it anywhere? From looking at it, the only guesses I would have would be speaker grille or heat/A/C outlet.

OK ... Touche, but really ...

It was in with a bunch of Honda parts that I was given, but before I pitch it, wanted to make sure not a Honda part that someone could use.
Don't want anything for it ... just making sure no one is looking for this before it gets tossed.

Looks like maybe heater vent or speaker housing, but I can't be sure.
