i think it costs $100 -$150 for a complete engine (no trans) and i think it is another $80 for the tranny. i was there about a month ago, so the cvcc's should still be there.here is the address and phone number. enjoy.

got to the junk yard in sun valley called u pick parts. there were about 5 cvcc and 2 cvcc wagons. there were about 5 complete cvcc motors.

Jerry, if you want to go for ease of installation, just go with another '75 CVCC engine. They'll run just as well as the later ones, but a header is lots easier to find. They seem to pop up on e-bay about once a month, and they're for '75 only. Otherwise, go with a later (76-79) CVCC engine.
That is, unless you want to do a swap with a later fuel injected engine, then you're only limited by your imagination, skill and budget.

hey socal.... i have a cvcc just sitting collecting dust. I plan to get a motor soon.. and would appreciate it if any of you guys can give a helping hand. any ideas of what motor will be best to fit a 75' cvcc??

Hey everyone! Would anyone be up to a meet in So Cal? I have never been to a 1gen meet before. I also have a del Sol and have been to hundreds of meets including our annual vegas invasion meet. One meet we have about once or twice a year is a fix a sol day where we meet at someone's garage and fix, modify, whatever to our sols. It would be cool to maybe do the same for 1gens.
