turns out you were right don i did have 1300 flywheel i forgot i had that one machined with the 1300 crank i had. 1300 clutch fit right in.Thanks

On the clutch / flywheel situation, it turns out the 2nd generation flywheels have about a .200 in. shallower step than the 1st generation series. I ran into this while trying to put a lightened 1200 flywheel into a '82 civic wagon w/1500. Just keep the flywheel/pressure plate/ transmissions together and you will not have any problems.

i made my own gaskets for the canon manifold. Just went to the local parts supply got a 10m roll of gasket paper and now i make all my own gaskets and is heaps cheaper

I had the same problem... I think you have a 1200 pressure plate and a 1300 flywheel.

two questions: im putting my engine in and i have purchased to differnt clutch kits and when i set them in the flywheel they barely make it over the dowel pins and there is like 3/8" of space between the pressure plate and flywheel. i tried the clutch in the 1500 flywheel i had, to see if they gave me the wrong clutch and it was better but still wrong. any suggestion? can i machine out the center and not the rim where the screws tread into?

#2 what gaskets do i use for cannon single side draft manifold between the carb and manifold. with 40doce and where do i get em?
