Do you still have any of these David? If so, how much
By Yellowcivic (70.97.64.163) on Monday, February 07, 2005 - 05:52 am: |
Charles,
No cutting what so ever. You don't even need to install the recomended 2 screws in the bottom holes. Mines been in for 12 years with out a screw. Just snaps right in. They come set for shaft mount old style sterios. They have to be cut for the full din sterios. Can be cut with a dremel or jigsaw. They look like the picture from Quick Rick. David

hyper, what I did was left the original AM radio in and put my stereo in the glove box. I just set it in there, didn't slide around or anything and kept the original look of the dash. Just an idea.

Can you install these faces without cutting anything in the dash?
i want to keep the car as is... but at the same time AM raido kinda sucks...
ive got my i-pod clone, but it would be nice to have something to hook it up to rather than earplugs...

I tried to get the pocket speacker grills and they are no longer available. So I bought a few extra face adapters that I will keep for my own use. Someday they won't be availble also.

Ok, someone e-mailed me about the stereo face plates, I replied but the e-mail came back as an error. Anyway, if you e-mailed me about the stereo face plate, how much and could you sell me three?
By Justin (199.60.112.10) on Thursday, November 04, 2004 - 04:08 pm: |
I've been really busy, I tried to find a local supplier that had them, but no luck. The kit is made by American International. www.americaninternational.net
the model is HRH-820.
You might be able to source them from one of your local car audio shops.

Justin,
These are the ones which fit in the cubby hole below the heater controls I guess? Do they interfere with the use of the factory stick shift at all? Also, what's the price on those? If you don't wish to quote on the board, my e-mail addy is:

Thanks for any information you can offer.

Shea
