I thought we could only upload a max. of 40k
I will test it.
1st image is just under 100k
2nd is just under 40k.

I have no degraded the quality of the pics. just the size.

Shreck, I'm using a Canon scanner with program for scanning and edit (for sizes) under "PhotoStudio 5" software. I have never had problems with this one.

I then compress files into zip folders IF the size is too large to send thru e-mail. The image I tried to upload here wasn't needed to be compressed since it's already under 100 Kb.

It's a mystery for me why it don't work for here...

Yeah, it's right in my pc - it's in a file...I scanned straight from my scanner to my pc. Under 100 Kb (it's at 98 Kb). I see nothing wrong at all so I must be missing something - somewhere!

Did You scan it directly to Your pc, or to a web page? Cuz' when I scan pics all I do is scan them to my pc then edit the size to 100kb or less then upload them here. No need for a web page. Hope that helps.

Kyle, I find that it was at 144 Kb , so I'm almost there. I'm going to do re-scan the page again and try see if I can get under 100 Kb. Thanks!

well whats the file's size? 50% of a 5 meg picture is still too much, 50% doesn't mean anything. right click on the file, go to properties, and see what the actual size is

Yeah, that book is acutally very thick! From the picture showing it, it looks to be at least 4 or 5 inches thick - something like that. Ok, I will try do few scans to post here. Lucky, the book is binder-style, so I can open to take a page or few off to put in my scanner there.

Copyright laws? Good question! Maybe I should ask a Honda dealer to find out?

Before I got a real copy I borrowed one from a friendly Honda dealer and photocopied it ... man did that take some time!

I have got 1975-1977 Honda Civic OEM part book in way by mail to me. This book was used solely by Honda parts counters in dealerships! The book contains hundreds of original part numbers to ID any part installed for 1st gen Civics - all 3 models (sedan, wagon and hatchback). I'm going to use mainly for my Civic in looking for parts I will need, so with the book would help out greatly.

I'm offering you any help for your cars if you need to know what part number to get replacements from your own source. I'm NOT selling any parts - just a service to help you out for free,ok? Thanks!

I'll let you know when I get the book, it will be a few weeks by then.
